Mindcast.20 || The Ebertbrothers
For our little jubilee, the 20th Mindcast edition, we’re happy and proud to present the first-ever online mixtape by THE EBERTBROTHERS. They are Axel and Michael Ebert, an artist duo living and working in Berlin. They started collaborating in 2006, first creating video art pieces, then moving more and more towards music production accompanied by their own visuals. Their music combines IDM and ambient with experimental and industrial elements, as showcased on the album “Susten Pass” (2011) and the EP “Engine Eyes” (2012), both released on Mindwaves Music.
While their first contribution to the Mindcast series was a recording of their own live set at Boom Festival 2012, this time they compiled tracks from other artists. The mix features tracks spanning a broad range of musical styles from several decades: a narration of shifting moods and atmospheres, from shimmering lightness to industrial crunchiness and all the fascinating moments in between.
