Off-center electronics from Berlin, since 2007.
How it started ||
Long before it had a name. The digging into electronic niche music started way earlier, but in 2007 it got concrete: Pat Flanders and Jus10 began searching for tracks for a compilation. Mindwaves Plantation by ChillinBerlin (the DJ duo of Pat and Jus10) followed in February 2008, and it turned into more than a compilation: Mindwaves Music, founded in Berlin and still run by Pat today.
What we do ||
Releases. Compilations, albums and EPs since 2008, plus our G.DUBS EP series since 2024. Maybe you can hear our taste for broken beats, melancholic melodies and bass.
Mindcast. Our mixcast since 2012. Artists we feel connected to, or simply admire, get a free hand to put together a mixtape. Every episode has its own cover, designed by a selected artist, and every mix is free to download.
The network behind it ||
Mindwaves Music is more than a label. Behind it sits a network of artists, music, cover art, mastering, promo and a lot more. And without the people who buy and stream our music, none of it would exist. Thank you for that.
For everyone ||
Everyone is welcome. No matter who you are, where you’re from or who you love: you’re in the right place at Mindwaves. Hate, racism and sexism have no place here.
A bit short on cash? Mindcast mixes are free to download, and our releases are also on Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and YouTube. If there’s something you can’t afford: drop us a line, we’ll figure it out.
