Rasmus Fisker – Cargo || MWM015
Danish producer Rasmus Fisker returns to Mindwaves Music with Cargo, his second full-length album on the label. Following his contributions to the Pnyø and Audio Scape compilations, this ten-track record marks a refined progression of the sound he has been developing – rooted in IDM, electronica and ambient, with a sharp focus on intricate sound design and rhythmic precision.
Where his earlier work laid the foundations, Cargo builds on them with a more cohesive and focused vision. Subtle nu-jazz influences surface on selected tracks, adding a melodic, organic quality alongside his signature clinical aesthetic – without pulling the album away from its electronic core. The result is a listening experience that balances technical depth with atmospheric breadth.
The album is mastered by Ankur Sood at Seres Studio, with artwork by NiemansLand.
