We met Pernille for the first time when she helped and supported us with her visuals on our first Mindwaves night at the Berghain Kantine, back in 2008. Pernille Krog Mogensen is a well known and respected figure in the Danish electronic music scene. Formerly working as the head of music for the Danish festival Strøm, for almost a decade, Pernille’s sheer depth in musical knowledge has led her to work in various well-respected music projects around Europe, including her own radio show, 'Mango Drive' on Heartbeats radio. Her enthusiastic support of underground electronic music has no doubt helped expand the influence of Danish music culture into new territory. Here's what Pernille says about her mix: "I wanted to soundtrack an 'epic autumn', meaning that I love how the coming of autumn and winter naturally also brings more darkness and colder temperatures - and thus the perfect opportunity and time to really dwell into the darker and heavier music. Niki is a true purveyor of cutting-edge, deep and contagious grooves with a rich background history in dance music. In Ireland she used to host many successful club nights and festivals, such as Macronite and Bump! Muzik Festival. Her musical style comes from quite a variety of background influences, which translates in the eclectic sets she performs, bringing together elements of the music which she enjoys the most. Currently Niki is a resident DJ at Skizze Berlin, where she continues to hone her craft regularly. Here are a few words from Niki about her mix, enjoy: "I started my journey with Techno, but I have always enjoyed exploring genres that resonated with me as I experienced them. Grischa Lichtenberger (* 1983 in Bielefeld) is a producer of electronic music, installation and multimedia artist. Since 2009, his works appear among others on the renowned label Raster-Noton and he was awarded with an honorable mention at the Ars Electronica back in 2013. Grischa also composed for the Batsheva Dance Company in Tel Aviv the music for the choreography 'Last Work' by Ohad Naharin.
