Colleague, friend, and label artist Lars Hemmerling returns with a curated mixtape that continues the percussive exploration of his Dark Woods release for G.DUBS. This installment offers a deeper insight into the kinetic architecture and tribalistic undertones that characterize his current artistic direction.
Hemmerling navigates a fluid narrative, weaving together modern soundscapes from Formant Value and Original Tradition (featured on the latest Audio Scape V/A) with the historical influences of C.J. Bolland. The result is an exploration of rhythmic geometry moving from ambient suspension to a ritualistic drive—a sonic document reflecting both the technical rigor of his studio work and the atmospheric depth of his live collaborations.
