Mindcast.42 || Púca
We end this turbulent year with a mix as varied as 2017 itself: a diverse ride through up- and downtempo electronica in all its facets, compiled and recorded by PÚCA. A púca is a benevolent shapeshifter in Irish mythology, appearing in many forms — an anomalous concept that can be witnessed in Aodhgán’s (aka Púca) approach to electronic music and sound design.
Broken beats, spitting snares and synths offset with cheeky melodies, lush pads and strange atmospherics. Not one to stick to a genre, Púca keeps twisted electronics as the common denominator across DJ sets and his own productions, meandering between electro, broken beat, techno and IDM. Enjoy the mix and have a safe changeover into 2018!
