Mindcast.40 || Poborsk
Mindcast forty comes from French producer POBORSK: one hour of mostly his own productions, an excellent trip through shades of classic “IDM” with synthetic computer funk, depth charge bass drops, steel plated beats and concrete sound manipulation — exactly as described in his bio.
Poborsk has been producing electronic music since 1999. His first releases on the net labels Filament Recordings and Plastiqpassion in 2006 quickly gained attention and led to releases on labels like Cactus Island, Tsuku Boshi, Bedroom Research, Computer Club and Icasea, to name a few. Bedroom Research wrote about his music: “…something in the line of Autechre and some of Skam’s releases: deep, melodical and abstract electronica with an almost non human level of details and technicality, a freestyle approach to arrangements, some ‘biomechanical’ grooves and some really uncanny atmospheres that make you feel like being in a jungle, or a sea, of micro sounds.”
