Founded in Aarhus, Denmark, in 2002, Badun has spent over two decades redefining the intersection of IDM, jazz, and glitch. At its core is Oliver Duckert, an “electronic evangelist” who guides the project’s ever-evolving line-up through explorations of rhythm and texture. By blending acoustic instrumentation with custom-built software, the group fractures traditional harmonies to create a unique form of 21st-century cyber-jazz.

As long-standing members of the Mindwaves Music family, Badun is renowned for a staggering level of detail and a restless, improvisational flow.
