Born from the combined expertise of the duo’s solo projects, Ex.Hale and Schnallo, Monotone was formed to explore the extraordinary and the unconventional. Their sound immediately resonated with the global electronic elite, earning support from tastemakers like Laurent Garnier, Modeselektor, dBridge, and Rob Hall.

In late 2024, the duo made a significant mark on the Mindwaves Music universe by releasing their debut EP, “Call Your Friends.” This release was particularly noteworthy as it served as the inaugural launch for G.DUBS, the label’s dedicated platform for deeper, more rhythmic deconstructions.
