Karsten Pflum is a Danish producer of electronic music, living and working in Copenhagen. Pflum has been releasing music since 2002 on various labels such as Worm Interface (UK), Rump Recordings (Denmark), Ad Noiseam, Hymen, Suburban Trash and Mindwaves Music (Germany).
His music embraces different electronic genres - from ambient, melodic soothing electronica, heavy drill n' bass, to complex IDM and breakcore. In his tracks he pays a tribute to the golden times of the IDM scene, but never looses focus on the future of the genre.
With a bunch of albums and EPs in his bag, his tunes have been air-played on a diverse number of radio programs, amongst these BBC's Mary Anne Hobbs' the Breezeblock, and by the deceased John Peel.
His live shows have been rocking around Europe for a good number of years, on festivals such as Roskilde, Jazzjuice and Fusion Festival, and to clubs in countries like UK, China, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Turkey.
