MONOTONE is the electronic live project by Francesco Presotto & Kimi Recor. Known for their solo projects: EX.HALE and SCHNALLO - the two decided to combine their musical experiences to explore something new and extraordinary.
Monotone's music is characterized by dark, atmospheric textures driven by a modern vision of club music. The project focuses on the deconstruction of common compositional standards with the addition of oppressive rhythmic structures, which forms the unusual framework for Monotone's subversive approach.
Their debut EP "Call Your Friends" was released on November 29, 2024 and has already been supported and very well received by artists such as Laurent Garnier, Rob Hall, Modeselektor, dBridge, Yu Su, Etch, Identified Patient and many others.
